Ingredients
- Topping:
- 12 medium sized granny smith apples,thinly sliced
- Juice of 2lemons
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar,packed
- 1/2 c.melted butter
- 6 T.flour
- 4 t.ground cinnamon
- 1/8 t. nutmeg
- 1 c.all purpose flour
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 12 T. Butter cut into small pieces
- 1/2 c.rolled oats
- 1/2 c. Chopped macadamia nuts

Preparation
Step 1
1.Toss sliced apples with lemon juice to coat well.
Add 1c.sugar and the brown sugar,1/2 c. melted butter,flour,and spices,stir until mixture is well blended.
2.In a food processor,combine topping ingredients;pulse until mixture is crumbly.You can also use a pastry blender or fork to cut this mixture together.
3. Pour apple mixture into a lightly greased 13x9 baking dish.Sprinkle topping mix evenly over top of apples.
4.Place in preheated 375*F oven.Bake for about 45 to 60 minutes, until apples are tender and topping is browned.
