Poor Man's Garlic Butter Pasta

Simple side dish that goes well with any kind of meat and vegetables. And did I mention, it's also super easy and quick to make!

Ingredients
- 8 ounces angel hair pasta
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 green onion, chopped (I didn't have any)
- 1/4 cup grated or finely shredded Parmesan cheese, or more to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Cook pasta in salted water until tender as directed on package.
Meanwhile, in a small 1-qt. saucepan or skillet melt the butter over low heat; when melted add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly so it doesn't brown. Remove from heat and stir in the green onion.
Drain pasta well in a colander then transfer to a serving bowl. Pour the garlic butter over the pasta and toss to coat. Add Parmesan and toss well. Garnish as desired and serve immediately.
