Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 slice bacon, browned and crumbled
- 1 cup beer
- 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 TBS oregano
- 3 TBS chile powder
- 1 TBS cumin
- 1 TBS paprika
- 1 TBS chipotle powder
- salt and pepper
- 24 oz crushed tomatoes
- 24 oz diced tomatoes
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Brown bacon in hot skillet. Add veges and saute till almost tender. Add seasonings and meats to brown.
Add beer, beans and tomatoes. Do not overstir.
Simmer 1 1/2 hours.
