Butternut Squasch/ Apple Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 lg fresh butter nut squash (pealed) or 2 bags frozen
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 cup brown sugar.
- salt and pepper for taste
- 3 apples, pealed and thinly sliced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbs white sugar
- 2 cups total cereal
- 2 - Tbs brown sugar
- 2 - Tbs butter softened

Preparation
Step 1
mix sliced apples with cinnamon and sugar.
Boil then mash squash with butter, salt, pepper, 1/2 cup butter and nutmeg.
place apples in bottom of a 2 qt casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray, top with mashed butternut squash, spread over apples. Mix cereal with 2 Tbs butter, and 2 Tbs brown sugar. Spread over squash
bake at 350 for 30 min.
