Ingredients
- 2 sticks salted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups bittersweet Ghirardelli chocolate chips

Step 1
Preheat oven to 370°F.
Combine flour, baking soda and kosher salt in a small bowl.
Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
Add egg and beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels.
Drop rounded tablespoons onto an un-greased baking sheet.
Bake at 370°F degrees for 9 minutes (undercooked is best).
