Ingredients

  • 1 lb walleye filets
  • 1/2 t chili powder
  • 1 lime (halved)
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1/2 t garlic powder
  • 8 - 6 inch tostada shells
  • 1 pkg. shredded cabbage & carrots (coleslaw)
  • Tomatoes (sliced thin)
  • Shredded cheese
  • Cilantro (chopped)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat broiler. Sprinkle fish with salt and chili powder, place fish on a broiler pan. Place broiler pan in oven and heat 4 to 6 minutes until fish flakes. Place shells on lower rack of oven. Combine sour cream, 2 t lime juice, garlic powder, chili powder and cilantro in small bowl. Take fish out of oven broiler and flake and then layer on tostada, fish, cheese, tomato, sour cream mixture and coleslaw mixture. Serve with spanish rice .
