Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick 1/2 stick butter (4 Tablespoons)
  • 1 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • dash dash of salt
  • 1 can 1 can 20 oz pineapple chunks or tidbits drained
  • 4 oz 4 oz cream cheese cut into small pieces

Preparation

Step 1

pre heat oven 350 degrees
melt butter put in 8x6 baking dish (if you use glass you can melt butter in glass dish in micro wave)
in a small bowl mix together egg, milk, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt
Pour directly over butter in baking dish do not stir
Add pineapple chunks or tidbits over batter in a single layer
Drop cream cheese pieces over pineapple
Bake 45 minutes or until top is golden brown and edges are bubbling
crust rises up around the fruit

you can double recipe for a 9x 13 pan
