• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1 box white cake mix (we used Betty Crocker)
• 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
• 1 egg
• 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350°F.

Combine sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small bowl. Set mixture aside.

Thoroughly combine cake mix, butter, egg, cream of tartar, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Then, place dough balls one by one into cinnamon sugar mixture and roll them around until they're covered. Place dough balls about two inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until set. The cookies will be softer the less you bake them. Once fully baked, remove them from the cookie sheet and transfer them to a cooling rack.
