Apple Pie

Ingredients
- Filling:
- 1 pkg. Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crust
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. all- purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice, if desired
- 6 cups ( 6 medium) thinly sliced peeled apples

Step 1
Prepare pie crust as directed on package for two-crust pie using 9 inch pie pan.
Heat oven to 425. In large bowl, combine all filling ingredients except lemon juice and apples; mix well. Add lemon juice and apples; toss gently to mix. Spoon onto crust-lined pan. Top with second crust; seal edges and flute. Cut slits or shapes in several places in top crust.
Bake at 425 for 40 -45 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
