Apple Dumplings

Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 6 granny apples
- sugar and cinnamon
- 2 (7oz) lemon lime beverages
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 cup butter

Step 1
Make sauce by heating all ingredients together except butt. Add butt last and set aside. Peal and core apples. Roll crescent rolls very thin, place apple in middle of two crescents, sprinkle generously with sugar and cinnamon then pull dough around apple and place in pan. Cover with prepared sauce and bake for 35 to 40 mins at 425. Serve warm in a bowl of vanilla ice cream.
