Ingredients
- 4 Winesap apples, cored, sliced and peeled
- 4 Bartlett Pears, cored, sliced and peeled
- 1 cup Water or Pear cider
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Ginger
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp Allspice

Preparation
Step 1
Place all ingredients into a 4 quart slow cooker. Cook on low for 10-12 hours.
Uncover and cook on low for an additional 1-2 hours or until thick and most of the liquid is evaporated.
Allow to cool completely then pour into the food processor and puree. Pour into clean glass jars. Refrigerate up to 6 weeks
