Ingredients

  • 4 honey crisp or favorite apple, cut in half, seeds removed.
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 jar of ready made caramel sauce
  • 8 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • Whip cream optional

Preparation

Step 1

Place apple halves on a 4 inch rack. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake on power level HI for 4-6 minutes, let cool for 5 minutes. Place the apples on ice cream and top with caramel sauce and whip cream. Enjoy!

Tips:
If you remove skins, top with sugar and cinnamon and bake for 12-14 minutes on power level HI on a 1 inch rack. Mash apples for a great chunky applesauce.
