Make ahead frozen ravioli casserole
By classycook
This is my great comforting dish after a long day. This is especially perfect for busy weeknights and you can assemble it ahead of time. Just keep it covered and refrigerated until you're ready to pop it into the oven. I used to make this all the time in college because it was so simple and tasty, and better than eating out! This recipe serves 4.
Ingredients
- Step 1:
- 1 lb frozen ravioli (any flavor you like)
- 1 (26 oz) jar marinara sauce or your favorite spaghetti sauce
- 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Preparation
Step 1
Grease the bottom of a gratin dish or an 8x8 baking dish with a baking spray.
Place the ravioli in the dish. Pour the half the sauce over the ravioli and sprinkle in the Parmesan. Toss to make sure the ravioli is evenly coated with sauce and cheese.
Rearrange the ravioli so they are in even layers in the dish. Pour the rest of the sauce over the ravioli. Top with mozzarella.
Cover dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 5 more minutes to get a nice golden top.
Enjoy with some crusty bread and a nice glass of wine!
