Ingredients

  • 2 cans ( 6 1/8 oz each) tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 medium stalk celery, chopped ( about 1/2 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 egg

Step 1

heat oven to 375. generously grease loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3 inches. mix tuna, celery, mayonnaise and lemon juice, set aside

mix remaining ingredients. spread 2/3 of the batter in bottom and about 1 inch up sides of pan. spoon tuna mixture evenly onto center of batter. drop remaining batter by teaspoonfuls onto tuna mixture, spread batter carefull1y with spatula.

bake 25-30 minutes.
