WHITE CHOCOLATE GANACHE:

In a heavy saucepan, melt chips and butter with cream over low heat; stir until smooth
- 2 cups white baking chips
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Silk Wacky Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup natural cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup Silk Light Chocolate
- Powdered sugar, for dusting, optional
Peanut Butter and Jam Cookies

These cookies are absolutely wonderful and so easy to make
- 3/4 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
- 1/4 plus 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 3/4 flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 jar of your favorite jam
RED VELVET CAKE

This was my great grandmothers recipe
- Cake:
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 1 1/2 cups of canola oil or vegetable
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups of cake flour
- 1 tbsp of cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 oz of red food coloring (small bottle)
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- FROSTING:
- 8 oz of cream cheese
- 6 tbsp of softened butter (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups sifted confectioners’ sugar (powder sugar)
Pampered pumpkin pie

Easy and really great with fresh pumpkin!!
- 1 1/3 cup of smooth pumpkin
- 1 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1 cup hot water
GRANDMOTHER'S SILKY PEAR BUTTER

1. Wash, peel and quarter pears
- 4 lb. ripe pears
- 1 c. orange pineapple juice
- 1/4-1/2 c. sugar to taste
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. orange liqueur (optional)
Gingerbread Cake with Cranberry Filling

I often use just the Cake part of this recipe
- CAKE:
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup unsulfured molasses
- 3 large eggs
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 1/4 cups whole buttermilk
- CRANBERRY FILLING:
- 16 ounce can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- ORANGE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
- 8 ounces cream cheese -- softened
- 1/2 cup butter -- softened
- 1 tablespoon orange
- 4 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
- GARNISH: Gingerbread cookies
Almond Crust

Meyer Lemon Marmalade Recipe

This is a great Marmalade!! it is also something different to do with these lemons!!
- 2 1/2 lbs of Meyer lemons (about 9 lemons)
- 6 cups water
- 6 cups granulated sugar
