  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 2 ½ cups sifted flour
  • 1 ½ tsps baking soda
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon, ginger, and cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup hot water
  • Whipped cream
  • Lemon Fondue Sauce
  • Cream Margarine and sugar. Add egg and molasses, blend well.
  • Stir dry ingredients together. Add to batter. Add hot water; beat until
  • smooth. Bake at 350 in 9x13 inch pan for 40 minutes. Serve warm topped
  • with whipped cream and lemon sauce

  • Combine 2 ¼ cups water, 1 ½ cups confectiones sugar, 6 tab. Cornstarch,
  • and 12 inches of lemon rind strips, 1 ½ inches wide into a food processor.
  • Pour into saucepan, add ¾ cup butter and cook until mixture is thick and
  • shiny. Add 1 6 oz. can of frozen lemonade.
