- 2 (6 oz) packages chow mein noodles (I used Wel-Pac brand Chow Mein Stir-Fry Noodles)
- 2 teaspoons salted butter
- 2 tablespoons sesame seed oil
- Half a medium yellow onion, julienned (1/2 cup)
- 1/4 head green cabbage, julienned (I had about 2 1/2 c.)
- Dash garlic salt
- Dash salt
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 - 1 1/2 tablespoons oyster sauce, to taste
- 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce, or to taste

- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/8 teaspoon salt

- 1 1/3 cups whole milk or half-and-half (or combination)
- 1 (8 oz) block Sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (2 cups)(I used 2%)

- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 2 - 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped or minced
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth (with enough water to measure 2 cups)
- 3 - 4 tablespoons Hunt's tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Tony Chachere's Original Creole seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Cake cubes, pudding, and homemade blueberry sauce layered in a clear bowl
- FOR THE CAKE:
- Bake or purchase a vanilla pound cake or angel food cake. Allow to come to room temperature, then cut into 1" cubes (Optional step- I trimmed off crusts first). Lay out in a single layer on a large baking sheet; set aside.
- FOR THE SAUCE:
- 3 cups fresh blueberries (or frozen)
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup cold tap water
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- FOR THE CREAM:
- 4 ounces (half an 8-oz block) cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 small box vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 cup whole milk or half-and-half
- 12 - 16 ounces Cool Whip, divided

Perfect sweet treats for a child's Minnie (or Mickey) mouse themed birthday party!
- For each "mouse" you will need 1 large sandwich cookie and 1 mini sandwich cookie. (The Minnie and Mickey in the center of plate uses 1 large cookie and 2 minis, edges are attached with melted chocolate.)
- Regular size Oreos chocolate or vanilla sandwich cookies
- Mini Oreos (chocolate or vanilla)
- Melted chocolate for "glue" (dark for chocolate cookies, white for vanilla cookies)
- Red or pink melting chocolate for the bows (or small edible candy bows)
