Christmas Party Cranberry Dip

Cream cheese is spread in a pie plate and topped with homemade cranberry sauce and served with honey graham cracker...
- 1 (12-ounce) bag fresh cranberries (Ocean Spray)
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese (reduced fat ok)
- Honey Graham Crackers or Buttery crackers (such as Club or Waverly)
Sweet Potato Pie

A classic Southern pie that has stood the test of time
- 3 1/2 cups mashed red sweet potatoes
- 1/2 stick (1/4 c) salted butter, melted
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk (I used Eagle Brand, F.F.)
- 1/4 cup whole milk, half-and-half, or heavy cream (I used cream)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 extra-large eggs, lightly whisked (I used jumbos)
- 2 (9-inch) regular size frozen pie crusts (I used Pet Ritz)
Bark of Many Colors Christmas Candy

A fun and festive treat the everyone can enjoy for the Holidays and it's super easy to make!
- Melted white almond bark or white chocolate chips
- Small, colorful assorted candies
- Amounts of ingredients depend on how much candy you want to make. I used a 12 ounce bag of white chocolate chips (melted with 1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil), mini M&Ms, chopped Reese's cups, crushed peppermint canes, and DOTS gummies cut in half.
German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake

This delicious cake recipe was given to me from a childhood neighbor over 30 years ago
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1 box German Chocolate cake mix plus ingredients to prepare (I used Betty Crocker)
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 3 cups confectioners powdered sugar
Banana Pudding Bites

- 1 (4-serving size) box Banana Cream or Vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 cup cold milk
- 35-40 vanilla wafers
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1 - 2 cups Cool Whip, thawed, divided
Old-Fashioned Cathead Biscuits

Rustic homemade biscuits made the old fashioned way like my mawmaw did, totally by hand
- 2 1/4 cups self-rising flour (I used White Lily)
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/3 cup vegetable shortening (I used Crisco)
- 1 cup buttermilk (I used low-fat)
Frog Eye Salad

Additive fruit and tiny pasta refrigerated salad
- 8 ounces Acini di Pepe pasta (about 1 1/8 cups dry)
- 1 cup pineapple juice* (drained from the pineapple)
- 2-3 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 (4-serving size) box vanilla instant pudding mix (I used S.F.-F.F.)
- 1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks or tidbits in juice*, chilled
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple in juice*, chilled
- 2 (11 oz) cans mandarin oranges, chilled, drained well
- 2 - 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut
- 1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip, thawed
Apple Pie Crunch

Canned apple pie filling topped with a buttery, crunchy homemade crumb topping
- 2 (21 oz) cans Apple Pie filling (I used Great Value brand)
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup confectioners powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 6 tablespoons butter
Peanut Butter No-Bake Drop Cookies

No baking required for these simple peanut butter cookies
- 1 1/2 sticks (3/4-cup) unsalted butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- Dash salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 5 cups quick-cooking oats (I used Quaker)
- 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped or crushed, optional (I used Planter's Classic Peanuts)
Peach Slab Pie

Homemade pastry and a simple filling that uses canned peaches
- CRUST:
- 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, put in the freezer
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 3 sticks (1 1/2-cups) unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch cubes then refrigerated until needed (I subbed 1/2 cup vegetable shortening for 1 of the sticks of butter)
- 3/4 About 3/4 cup ice cold water
- FILLING:
- 2 (29.10-ouncez) cans peaches in syrup, drained well (I had peach halves so I had to slice them)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- FINISHING:
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
