Bodacious Broccoli Salad

1. Mix broccoli, cauliflower, Cheddar cheese, onion, and crumbled bacon together in a large bowl
- 8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- 1 head fresh broccoli, chopped
- 1 small head cauliflower, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 large red onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Herb-Roasted Potatoes and Onions

In this dish, hardy herbs are roasted with the potatoes and onions, infusing them with flavor
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil; more for the baking sheet
- 2 lb. small (about 1-1/2-inch) potatoes, halved
- Kosher salt
- 2 Tbs. coarsely chopped mixed hardy fresh herbs, such as rosemary, savory, and thyme
- 1 large onion, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped mixed tender fresh herbs, such as chives, parsley, and tarragon
- Flaky sea salt for serving (optional)
Berber-Spiced Chicken Breasts

In a food processor, combine all of the ingredients except the chicken and lemon wedges and process to a paste
- 3 garlic cloves, quartered
- 1 small onion, coarsely chopped
- One 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
- 3 tablespoons sweet paprika
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Four chicken breast halves on the bone with skin (2 pounds)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
