This freeze well shaped into rolls to slice and bake
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup wter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sifted all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 3 cups oats
Hamburger Casserole

- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can biscutis
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- chili powder, garlic salt, salt and pepper to taste
- chopped onion
Chef Ninos Mushroom Crab Risotto

Heat large pan to high heat
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large white onion, diced
- 1 large Portabella mushroom cleaned, diced into 1/8 inch pieces
- 2 shallots, diced
- 2 1/2 cups Arborio rice
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 4 Tablespoons butter
- Sea salt to taste
- Cracked black pepper
- 4 green onions, diced
- 1/2 cup Pinto Grigoio white wine
- 1 cup Parmigiana Reggiano Cheese
- 1 (8 oz). local fresh lump crabmeat
Slow Cooker Cajun Chicken Alfredo Recipe

Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts (if they are not frozen see post on how to prepare)
- 4 teaspoons of Cajun Seasoning
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 8 ounces of Pene Noodles
- Parmesan Cheese - Optional for topping
Brown Sugar Scrub

Stir sugars until there are no lumps
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup regular sugar
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Roast on Grill

Mix together. Pierce holes in roast and soak over night
- 6 oz soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
- 3/4 cup water
- Juice of 1 lemon

Ginger Cookies

Cream shortening and sugar
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup molasses- Ber Rabbit brand
- 1 egg
- 2 1/3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Monterey Sausage Pie

In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until meat is no longer pink
- 1 pound Bulk Pork Sausage
- 3 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- 2-½ cups Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese, Divided
- 1-⅓ cup Milk
- 3 whole Eggs
- ¾ cups Biscuit/baking Mix
- ¾ teaspoons Rubbed Sage
- ¼ teaspoons Pepper
Rotel Spicy Meat Loaf

Preheat oven to 375. Combine all ingredients, except chili sauce
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 3 slices bread, torn into pieces
- 1 egg
- 1 can Rotel
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 cup chili sauce
Grilled Mexican Street Corn

Heat a gas or charcoal grill to 400F
- 6 to 8 medium ears sweet corn, husks removed
- 1/2 cup Mexican crema, or sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup minced cilantro
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground chipotle pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoons lime zest, from one lime
- 2 tablespoon lime juice, from one lime
- 1/2 cup cotija cheese, crumbled
- Lime wedges, to serve
