- 3 cups King Arthur Unbleached Bread Flour
- 1 cup rolled oats (old-fashioned oats)
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

- 2 teaspoons instant yeast OR 1 packet active dry yeast*

Prosecco Punch

Add to a large pitcher the white grape juice and pomegranate juice
- 2 quarts white grape juice
- 1 quart pomegranate juice
- 6 ounces fresh raspberries
- 1/2 pint pomegranate seeds
- One 1-liter bottle ginger ale
- 2 bottles prosecco or ginger ale
- Special equipment: muffin tins
Homemade Spice Rubs Using Drought-tolerant Herbs

In a spice grinder, or mini food processor grind all ingredients together
- For vegetables, pork, chicken, or fish:
- 2 tablespoons Kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 whole, peeled garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon freshly picked thyme
- Zest of 1 fresh lemon, 1 teaspoon
- For beef, use the same ingredients as above, then add:
- 1 tablespoon freshly picked rosemary leaves
