Toffee Squares

Pour over warm crust. Bake 22 to 30 minutes or until filling is set
- Base:
- 1 pkg. Yellow Cake Mix
- 1/2 ½ C. marg/butter softened
- 1 egg
- Combine cake mix and margarine; mix with fork. Stir in egg to moisten. Press mixture in bottom of greased 9x 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 7 minutes.
- Filling:
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- Stir in 6 oz. pkg chocolate coated toffee bits and 1 C. chopped pecans.
Chewy Lemon Sugar Cookies-Haley

Preheat oven to 350 and line cookie sheets with parchment paper
- 2 3/4 c flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- zest of one large lemon, finely minced
- 4 Tbs fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar for rolling cookies
Christa's Chicken Dip (hot)

- 1 lg. can white chicken
- 1 C. shredded jack cheese
- 1 C. shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can chopped green chiles
- 1 C. sour cream (8 0z)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
Pumpkin Muffins

Sift together: flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon
- 2 C. unbleached flour, sifted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/3 C. sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 ½ tsp. salt
- 1 C. canned, mashed pumpkin
- 1/2 ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 Tbsp. milk
- 1/2 ½ C. vegetable shortening (Crisco)
Scotcharoos

Bring Karo syrup and sugar to slow boil, add peanut butter and stir
- 1 C. Karo syrup
- 1 C. sugar
- 1 C. peanut Butter
- 6-7 C. rice crispies
- Topping: 6 oz. chocolate chips, 6 oz. butterscotch chips
Cheesecake w/Fruit in a Glass

- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 C. powdered sugar
- 1/2 C. sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 C. heavy cream, whipped +2 tsp. sugar
- 3/4 C. graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 C. butter, melted
- 1/4 C. sugar
- assorted fruit-blueberries, strawberries, raspberries
Strawberry Angel Food Cake Dessert

- Mix:
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 8 oz. cream cheese, soft
- 8 oz. cool whip
- Mix together with one angel food cake, cubed. Place in 9x13.
- Cook over medium heat until thick then cool:
- 2 c. sugar
- 7 T. cornstarch
- 2 c. water
- 4 T. white corn syrup
- ** use only 2/3 to 3/4 gel mixture with strawberries.
Sauerkraut Bread

- 27 oz. can sauerkraut, drained
- 1/4 ¼ C. minced onion
- 1/2 ½ tsp. pepper
- 1 stick margarine
Cheesy Bacon and Spinach Dip

Microwave all ingredients on high until cheese is melted
- 10 oz. frozen chopped spinach, drained
- 16 oz. Velveeta, cubed
- 4 oz. cream cheese, cubed
- 10 oz. can Rotel, undrained
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
Santa Fe Soup

- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 pkg. Williams’ taco seasoning
- 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch dressing mix
- 15 oz. can red beans
- 15 oz. can black beans
- 15 oz. can whole kernel corn
- 10 oz. can Ro-Tel Diced Tomatoes & Green Chiles (original)
- 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
- Green onions, chopped
- Sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- Corn chips, coarsely crushed
- Diced fresh tomatoes
- Sour cream
