Heat the EVOO and butter over medium-high heat in a large pot
- 2 tbsp EVOO
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup vermicelli, broken into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 tbsp thyme, chopped
- 1 tbsp turmeric
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- Salt/pepper
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1 large link sausage, sliced into thin pieces
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cubed
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or sherry
Seafood Bruschetta

Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Preheat broiler
- 8 ounces fresh or frozen peeled and deveined cooked shrimp
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon snipped fresh chives
- 1 tablespoon snipped fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon snipped fresh mint
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cooked crabmeat, coarsely chopped, or one 6-ounce can crabmeat, drained, flaked, and cartilage removed
- 1 cup chopped roma tomatoes (3 medium)
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion (1 medium)
- 1 8 ounce loaf baguette-style French bread
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Fresh mint sprigs (optional)
Apple-Sausage-Cheddar Breakfast Bake

1 Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray
- 2 packages (12 oz each) Johnsonville® Original breakfast sausage links
- 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling with more fruit
- 2 medium apples, peeled, chopped (about 2 cups)
- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
- 1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 6 eggs
B-B-Q Sauce

In a large pot, combine all ingredients
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 small onion, finely grated
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tbsp Kosher salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp pepper
- 1 bay leaf
Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs

1. In a small bowl, whisk together the paprika, brown sugar, salt, black pepper and cayenne
- 3 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 6 pounds baby back ribs, back membrane removed, cut into sections to fit the slow cooker
- 2 large yellow onions, sliced
- 1 cup water
- 1 (40-ounce) bottle barbecue sauce (your favorite)

Place a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 400 degrees F
- 2 cups whole or 2% milk
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup snipped fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage, and/or chives)
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Gruyere or Parmesan cheese
Pumpkin Biscuit Cake

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
- 4 cans (7.5 oz each) Pillsbury™ refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (sold in a 4-pack)
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)

- 1 1/4 cups shredded horseradish and chive Havarti cheese (5 ounces)*
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup cooked lump crabmeat or one 6-ounce can crabmeat, drained, flaked, and cartilage removed
- 1 cup shredded baby spinach
