Chocolate Gravy

Mix sugar, flour and cocoa together in a saucepan
- 3/4 C Sugar
- 3 Tbl Cocoa
- 4 Tbl Flour
- 3 C Milk (or water if prefered)
- 2 Tbl Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Shrimp or Crawfish Opelousas

Mix all in rice cooker. Season well with seasoning
- 1 lb Shrimp or Crawfish
- 1 medium Onion (chopped)
- 1 medium Bell Pepper (chopped)
- 1 small can Mushroom
- 1 block Margarine (sliced)
- 1 can Beef Broth
- 1 C Rice (raw)
- 1 small can Water Chestnuts (chopped)
Grandma's Bread

Mix all together and let sit until bubbly
- 4 C Water (warm)
- 1 C Sugar
- 4 Tbl Shortening
- 1 pkg Yeast
- 4 C Flour
- 4 Tbl Salt
Apple Cake

Mix first 7 ingredients together
- 4 c. freshly peeled & chopped apples
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 c. black walnuts or pecans
- 1/2 c oil
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp soda
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
Corn Dip Recipe

Mix all ingredients into bowl and refrigerate overnight to let flavors set
- 1 Bar Cream Cheese (softened)
- 16 oz. of Sour Cream
- 1 small can of chopped green chilies (drained)
- 2 cans of Mexican Corn (can use regular Sweet Corn)
- 1 1/2 cups of finely shredded cheese (prefer Cheddar/Monterey Jack mix – any kind will work)
- 1 package of Dry Ranch Dressing Mix (can use 1 1/2 packages for more flavor)
- 1 can of Black Beans (drained well – not rinsed)
- 1 bunch of finely chopped fresh Cilantro
- Optional Ingredient
- 1 small can of chopped or sliced olives
Skillet Macaroni & Beef

Cook beef in large skillet until it loses the redness
- 1 1/2 lbs Ground Beef
- 2 C (1/2 lb) Elbow Macaroni (uncooked)
- 1/2 C Onion (minced)
- 1/2 C Green Pepper (chopped)
- 2 8 oz cans Hunts Tomato Sauce
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 C Water
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 tbl Worcestershire
Green Beans

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat
- 1 Tbl Canola Oil
- 12 Slices Bacon (cut into small pieces)
- 1/4 C. Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 1/2 C. Water
- 2 pds Green Beans (broken into 2" pieces OR canned beans & drain off liquid)
Make Ahead Breakfast

Cook sausage over medium heat, stiring occasionally
- 1 lb Sausage
- 2 slices bread (cut into 1/2" cubes)
- 4 oz (1 C) Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
- 6 Eggs
- 2 C Milk
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
Hot Chicken Salad

1. Combine all ingredients except chips 2
- 2-3 C Chicken Breasts (diced cooked)
- 2/3 C Celery (diced)
- 8 oz Water Chestnuts (diced)
- 8 oz Cheddar Cheese (grated)
- 1/4 C Onion (finely chopped)
- 1 C Mayo
- 1 Lemon
- Potato Chips (Crushed)
