Basic White Sauce

We made this rich and creamy bechamel sauce a little on the thin side so that our bakes pastas would stay saucy
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 cups 2% milk
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 fresh bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
Peppermint-Chocolate Sugar Cookies

Preheat over to 350F, with racks in upper and lower thirds
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4-1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, sifted
- 3-5 tbsp heavy cream
- 12 rounded peppermint candies, crushed, for decorating
Slow Cooker Bacon Potato Chowder

This hearty and flavorful soup is so easy to make
- 4 slices bacon, chopped and crumbled
- 1 large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
- 4 cans (10 3/4 ounces each) Campbell's Condensed Cream of Potato Soup
- 4 soup cans of milk
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 large russet potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch pieces (about 3 cups)
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh chives
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (about 8 ounces)
Savoury Perogy Dough

In bowl, whisk flour with salt
- 3 cups (750 mL) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp (5 mL) salt
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup (175 mL) water, (approx)
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) vegetable oil

- 1 can (8ct.) Pillsbury Grands Flaky
- Layers Biscuits
- Cubed Mozzarella Cheese (1-1″ cube
- per Bomb)
- 2 lbs. of Bacon (1 slice per Bomb)
- Sticks
- Oil for frying (I used Canola)

- 1/3 cup Philadelphia Cream Cheese Spread
- 1 can (796 ml) crushed tomatoes
- 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 can (14 fl oz) black beans, rinsed
- 2 1/2 cups chopped chicken
- 1 1/3 cups mozza-cheddar shredded cheese, divided
- 10 small whole wheat tortillas
Three Cheese Chicken Penne Pasta Bake

HEAT oven to 375ºF. COOK pasta as directed on package, adding spinach to the boiling water for the last minute
- 1-1/2 cups multi-grain penne pasta, uncooked
- 1 pkg. (283 g) fresh baby spinach leaves
- 1 lb. (450 g) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1-1/2 cups (1/2 of 700-mL jar) pasta sauce
- 1-2/3 cups (1/2 of 796-mL can) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1/4 cup Philadelphia Light Cream Cheese Spread
- 1 cup Kraft Part Skim Mozzarella Shredded Cheese, divided
- 2 Tbsp. Kraft 100% Parmesan Light Grated Cheese
Pico De Gallo

In a nonreactive bowl, combine all ingredients
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced small
- 1/2 medium white onion, diced small
- 1/2 to 1 serrano chile, minced
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro leaves
Baked Deviled Wings

Preheat oven to 425. In a small bowl, stir all ingredients but wings together
- 1 cup chili sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 3 tbsp each worchestershire sauce, regular mustard
- 2 lbs chicken wings
Ham-Wrapped Chicken Fingers

Preheat oven to 375F. Butter a large, rimmed baking sheet and set aside
- 2 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted, plus more for baking sheet
- 12 chicken tenderloins, tendons removed

- 6 thin slices of Black Forest or other cured ham, halved diagonally
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
