- 5 lbs ground beef
- 5 onions, chopped finely
- 8 cloves garlic, smashed
- 3 carrots, chopped fine
- 3 stalks celery, chopped fine
- 2 cans chopped water chestnuts
- 1 c ketchup
- 1 c soy sauce
- 3 eggs
- garlic powder, s and p, to taste
- Filipino lumpia wrappers or chinese eggroll wrappers

Using a serrated knife, cut the square lumpia wrappers in half so that you have two stacks of rectangular wrappers
- 1 package Lumpia wrappers (25 sheets); Chinese or Vietnamese spring roll wrappers meant for frying can be substituted.
- 2 pounds ground pork
- 5 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
