  • 4 vidalia onions
  • 2 tbl. butter
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 4 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. white worcestershire
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Peel onions from the pointed end and leave the root end intact. Core the onions almost through and place a dab of butter in each onion. Wrap each one in foil and bake 20-25 mintes at 350 degrees. Butter baking dish large enough to hold onions. Cut the bacon into bits and fry. Drain and set aside. Beat cheese with worsetershire and bacon bits. Remove onions from oven and cool. Stuff each onion with cheese mixture and put in the baking dish and season with salt/pepper. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees. Onions should be tender and cheese melted.
