Crowd Pleaser Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 8 medium potatoes
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cups grated sharp cedar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook potatoes in jackets with bay leaf until barely tender. Cook and grate.

Mix together butter and soup until smooth.

Blend together sour cream, salt, pepper and onions. Mix in with 1 1/2 cups cheese and stir until just blended. Pour over potatoes and stir. Sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese on top.

Bake in buttered casserole at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
