Tomato Dumplings

Ingredients
- Cook together:
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 onion, cut up
- Butter, size of an egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Dumplings:
- 1 egg, beaten stiffly
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- butter, size of an egg
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- (add enough milk to make a stiff batter)

Step 1
Drop in spoonfuls in above mixture and boil 20 minutes without lifting lid. Serve at once. Don't let it burn.
