Company Corn

I ran across this recipe in "The Junior League at Home" cookbook and tried it several years ago at Thanksgiving dinner. My oldest granddaughter has to have it every year now!

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. bacon fried crisp and crumbled (I use Hormel Black
- Label-Original)
- 2 Tablespoons bacon drippings
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Tablespoons chopped onions
- 4 Tablespoons flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 (16oz.) cans whole kernal corn, (1 can drained)

Preparation
Step 1
In large skillet, saute' onion in bacon drippings and butter until tender. Add flour and mix well, stir in sour cream and corn, cook over low heat until mixture begins to thicken. Stir in bacon. Pour into a serving dish and garnish with reserved bacon (optional). Serve immediately.
