Western Hot Dog

You'll really enjoy making these hot dogs because not only are they easy to prepare, they're delicious!
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
- 4 hot dog buns
- 8 (3/4-ounce) cheese slices
- 4 premium hot dogs
- 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup French fried onions

Preparation
Step 1
Heat gas grill to medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.Place coals to 1 side in charcoal grill.
Place 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce into small bowl; set aside.
Open buns; place cut-sides down onto grill. Grill 1 to 2 minutes or until toasted. Turn buns over; immediately add 2 slices cheese to each bun. Place opposite heat on grill; keep warm.
Place hot dogs onto grill. Brush hot dogs with reserved barbecue sauce, using pastry brush. Grill, turning and brushing hot dogs with barbecue sauce occasionally, 5 to 9 minutes or until heated through .
Place grilled hot dogs into buns; top each with about 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce, 1 tablespoon bacon and 2 tablespoons French fried onions. Serve immediately.
