Details

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and add brown sugar, Karo syrup and salt. Cook for 5 - 8 minutes (I tend to do 8 mins mostly). Add 1 tsp baking soda after the 8 mins. ---mixture will start to foam up. Stire into popcorn and nuts quickly (I usually have someone help me). Spread onto a cookie sheet (very large one with a high edge is better). Cook at 200 degrees for 15 mins for 4 consecutive times for a total of one hour. Stir every 15 minutes to keep popcorn from sticking into clumps.
