Ingredients

  • 4 articokes, split and chokes removed
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 T. garlic powder
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • Lemon Dill Aioli
  • 1/2 cup organic mayonnaise
  • Juice of a lemon
  • 1 t. garlic powder
  • 2 t. dill
  • Sea salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Place artichoke halves, center facing up, in a crockpot. Evenly distribute the butter, lemon juice, and garlic powder over all. Place in crockpot and cook on high for 3-4 hours (or until centers are soft to a fork).

To make the aioli: mix all ingredients and place in the refrigerator until ready to eat. It may require mixing again before serving.
