macaroni salad (Cooked Dressing)

Ingredients

• 5 hard boiled eggs
• 1 box macaroni cooked
• 4 celery stalks diced
• 4 chopped green onions
• 1/2 C shredded carrots
• 2 tsp celery seed
• Dressing
• 2 C sugar
• 1 1/2 C water
• 1 egg beaten
• 4 tsp cornstarch
• 1/2 C white vinegar
• 2 C mayonaise

Preparation

Step 1

In large bowl stir together Eggs,celery,celery seed,carrots,onion, cooked macaroni.

Dressing

In med sauce pan stir together sugar and cornstarch. Add 1 beaten egg, water and vinegar. Cook until thick stirring constantly.Let cool completely and add mayo. stir in macaroni.
