Chinese Pulled Pork

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 6 tbsp Ketchup
- 6 tbsp honey
- 4 tsp minced garlic
- 4 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp five spice powder
- 4 pounds boneless pork shoulder, trimmed
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 tbsp cornstarch

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine first eight ingredients in a medium bowl, whisk until combined
2.Place the ingredients in a large zip-loc plastic bag
3. Add pork to bag, and seal.
4. Marinate in refrigerator for at least two hours, turning occasionally
5.Add pork and liquid to a slow cooker , cover and cook on low for 8 hours
6.Remove Pork from Slow cooker using a slotted spoon;place on a cutting board. Cover with aluminum foil; keep warm
7.Pour sauce into a medium saucepan
8.Whisk broth and cornstarch, then add to sauce
9.Bring the mixture to a boil and remove from heat to thicken
10.Shred pork with 2 forks; serve with sauce
NOTE: can be serve with rice or rolls
