Ingredients

  • 7/8 cup warm water
  • 3 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. yeast
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 2/3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Add the honey to the water and proof the yeast. When proofed, add the oil and stir in the flour and salt. Knead 5 minutes and let rise until doubled. Punch down, divide into three pieces and make a flat round out of each piece. Cut an X on top and let rise for 1/2 hour. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 minutes.
