Butter Sauce for fish

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. orange roughy fillets or any white fish
  • 1 stick butter
  • Juice from 1 fresh lemon (lime juice if preferred)
  • Dill seasoning
  • Garlic or lemon pepper and parsley to taste

Preparation

Step 1


Combine butter, lemon juice and dill in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Clean fish fillet and place on a large sheet of aluminum foil. Cover fish with butter sauce. Seal fish tightly in aluminum foil. Heat grill to medium heat, place foil packet on grill and cook for 8 minutes.

Turn packet over and cook for another 8 minutes. Check for doneness. Done when fish flakes. Option: Oven can be used.
