Linguine and Clams (Prince Pasta Recipe)

Ingredients
- 1 1 lb pkg linguine, uncooked
- 2 to 4 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 to 3 cloves, minced
- 2 to 3 6oz cans minced clams, drained, reserving 3/4 cup liquid
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 to 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp basil leaves or 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
- Grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare linguine according to pkg directions; drain. In large skillet, heat olive oil. Add garlic; cook and stir just until golden. Stir in reserved clam liquid, salt and pepper; heat just until mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in clams, parsley and basil. Combine clam mixture and hot cooked linguine; toss to coat.
Place in warm serving dish. Top with Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
