  • 3 - cans whole green beans
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter

Heat oven to 350 °. Cut bacon in half. Take 7 whole green beans and wrap with ½ piece of bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Repeat until all bacon or beans have been used. (You will probably have a few extra beans) Place in a 9x13 in pan. You will need to put the bundles close together to fit in the pan. Melt butter and stir in brown sugar. It will be thick, but it melts as is bakes. Cover pan with foil and bake for approximately 45 minutes. The recipe did not say to remove foil, but I removed it about half way through the baking time to crisp up the bacon a little. I think I even baked it a little longer to get it crisper.
