Lori and Jeff introduced us to this treat on one of our visits to San Antonio.Ginny made it using this recipe for Christmas Eve, 2009 and it was as good as I remembered!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen corn
  • 2 pkgs. (3 oz. each) cream cheese, cut in cubes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon. salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Spread corn over bottom of 3 1/2-4 quart slow cooker. Top with cream cheese cubes.

Mix remaining ingredients; pour over corn and cream cheese.

Cover and cook on high heat setting for 2-3 hours until creamy. Stir well before serving.

Remember in a crockpot DO NOT lift that lid. It will cool down each time.
