Taco Bell Taco Sauce Recipe

I needed taco sauce for my California Barbecue Beans recipe and I didn't have any. I found this recipe on Recipezaar.com and I am so glad that I did. It's so simple and very easy to make. I'll never need to buy taco sauce again!
Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons instant minced onion
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Step 1
Place the tomato sauce, water, chili powder, cumin, minced onion, white vinegar, garlic powder, garlic salt, paprika, sugar and cayenne pepper in a sauce pan and stir well. Simmer at a very low temperature for 15 to 20 minutes until flavors meld.
Remove and cool. May be kept in refrigerator for several days.
