BYERLY'S PUMPKIN PIE

Recipe from Byerly's Real Food magazine from a chef dad
- FOR THE CRUST:
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/3 cups ice water
- FOR THE PUMPKIN PIE FILLING:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2-1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 10 egg yolks
- 2 15-ounce cans pureed pumpkin (not pre-sweetened pumpking pie filling)
- 3 cups heavy cream, unsweetened whipped cream

Boil first four ingredients for 10 minutes
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Saucy Foil-Pack Barbecue Ribs

HEAT grill to medium-high heat
- What You Need
- 3/4 cup BULL'S-EYE or KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. orange marmalade
- 2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- 4 lb. pork baby back ribs, cut into 2-rib sections
SOUR CREAM CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE

Combine flour, baking soda, sour cream, salt, sugar and eggs in a large bowl
- CAKE:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup water
- 2 squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate
- ICING:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon sugar

Think outside of the bowl
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
- 3/4 cup chopped celery
- 1-1/2 cups water
- 1 pkg (6-oz) Stove Top stuffing mix for chicken
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup Planters walnut pieces
- 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
APPLE SLAB PIE

Heat oven to 450 degrees F
- 1 box Pillsbury refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 9 cups thinly sliced, peeled apples (9 medium)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
