Puree pepper,onion,spinach and cilantro in food processor until liquid
- 1/2 red bell pepper,deseeded and cut into chunks
- 1/2 medium red or yellow onion,cut into chunks
- 2 cups baby spinach leaves
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 3/4 cup cooked brown rice
- 1 15oz can chickpeas,drained and rinsed
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 2 Tbs tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 1/2-2 cups gluten-free bread crumbs
- extra virgin olive oil used for browning
Oatmeal Cookies from Quaker Oats

Preheat oven to 350. Cream marg
- 2 sticks marg,softened
- 1 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt,optional
- 3 cups quick or old fashioned oats
- 1 cup raisins(or chocolate chips)
Mushroom Barley Soup

Heat oil in a 6 qt.pot. Saute onions and mushrooms for 5 min
- 1 Tbs oil
- 2 med. size yellow onion,diced
- 1 lb fresh white mushrooms slice
- 4 carrots,cubed
- 4 stalks celery,sliced
- 2 parsley roots,cubed
- 1 clove garlic,crushed
- 1 cup barley
- salt and pepper to taste

- 1 lb chopped meat
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- salt,pepper,about a tsp each garlic powder,onion powder and paprika

- 3 Tbs oil
- 1 onion,chopped
- 1 clove garlic,chopped
- 1 box mushrooms,cleaned and sliced
- 2 Tbs flour
- 1/3 cup cooking sherry or red wine
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- salt and pepper to taste
- chopped parsley

preheat oven to 350. Mix flour and baking soda in a medium bowl
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup date sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 4 ripe bananas,mashed
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup walnuts,chopped
- MACADAMIA CREAM
- 2 2/3 cups raw unsalted macadamia nuts
- 1 3/4 cup soy milk(if you want a thinner consistencey,add more)
- 1 1/3 cup pitted dates(preferably medjool)
- TOPPINGS
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut
- 2 cups strawberries

- 1 1/2 cups vanilla soy milk

- 2 (8 oz) containers whipped cream cheese

- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- NUT MIXTURE
- 1 cup slivered almonds
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- confectioners' sugar for dusting
