Remove the turkey from the roasting pan and set aside to rest
- 1 Good Eats Roast Turkey, recipe follows
- 24 ounces reduced sodium chicken broth
- 8 ounces red wine
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon fresh herbs such as oregano, thyme or rosemary
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 (14 to 16 pound) frozen young turkey
- 1 gallon vegetable stock
- 1 cup kosher salt

Grandma Ruth's Bun recipe

- 2 TB Yeast
- 2 TB Sugar
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 cup scalded milk
- 1/2 tsp cardemom
- 1/2 cup butter, margarine or shortening
- 1 cup sugar (Grandpa said the original recipe called for 1/2 cup, but that he preferred it sweeter so he used a full cup) :)
