- Small carton sour cream
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
- 3 Tbl. poppy seeds
Boeuf Bourguignon

Cook bacon until crisp. Remove from pan
- 3 lbs lean stewing meat
- 1 Tbl. Olive oil
- 6 oucenes bacon cut into 1 1/2 in strips
- 1 tsp salt or to taste
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tbls flour
- 1 carrotc,sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cups red wine**
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1 tbl. tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic, mashed
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1 bay leaf, crumbled
- 1 tbl. butter
- 1 lb. button mushrooms, quartered

Christmas treat
- 2 cups cornmeal
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 6 1/2 cups chicken or beef broth
- 3 cups ground pork
- salt and pepper
- Sage, poultry seasoning, cayenne pepper to taste
Pork Chops Ole

Brown pork chops in oil; sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper
- 6 loin pork chops (1/2 in. thick)
- 2 Tbls cooking oil
- Seasoned salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup uncooked rice
- 1-1 1/2 cups water
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1/2 envelope taco seasoning mix (2 Tbls.)
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Needa's Roast

Brown roast in oil Add all else except gravy and simmer 3-4 hours
- 1 eye round roast 3-5 lbs.
- 1 whole onion, chopped.
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 tlbs. Regina Wine vinegar in glass of water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can Franco American beef gravy
Cornbread Muffins

Blend well, fold in No. 303 can corn, drained
- Mix:
- 1 cup corn meal
- 1 tbl. baking powder
- 11/2 tsp. salt
- Make well in center. Add:
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- Blend well, fold in No. 303 can corn, drained
- Pour half batter in greased square or muffin tins.
- Cover with:
- 1/4 lb. grated cheddar cheese'1 four oz. can chopped green chilis
- Pour remaining batter over and bake at 375 for 30-45 min.
Curried Four Fruit Bake

- 1/3 cup butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 tsp. curry powder
- 1 can pears
- 1 sm. jar Marashino cherries
- 1 can peaches or apricots
- 1 can pineapple chunks
Cinnamon-spiced beef stew

Brown beef, spoon of excess fat
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 medium onions, quartered
- 4 medium carrots, in inch pieces
- 1 Tbl. sale
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 short cinnamon stick
- 4 small zucchini chopped
- 1 20 oz. can tomatoes
- 1 16 or 20 oz can garbanzo beans drained
- hot cooked rice
Bacon Crisps

- 3 tbls butter
