Fantastic Grilled Corn

Mix broth, soya, vinegar, cornstarch, sugar, sriracha
- 1/2 c chicken broth
- 2 T soya sauce
- 2 T rice vinegar
- 2 t cornstarch
- 1 t sugar
- 1 t srriracha(Thia chile and garlic sauce)
- 1 T oil
- 1 &1/2 lb chicken breast cut into 1"
- 8 oz mushrooms
- 1 red pepper
- 1 onion
- 3 stalk celery
- 1 c diced chestnuts
- 1/4 c chopped peanuts
- 3 c cooked rice
Chocolate Almond Popcorn

Pop 30 c popcorn(I removed all unpopped kernals)and mix in almonds
- 30 c popped corn(1 c kernals)
- 3 c sliced almonds(1 lb)
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c corn syrup
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/4 c cocoa powder
- 1 t table salt
Irene's Mustard Pickles

soak for 12 hours all chopped/sliced vegetables in 1/2 c salt and water
- Brine:
- 3 qts cuc's sliced
- 1 qt onions sliced
- 1 red pepper chopped
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 1 yellow pepper chopped
- 1 pkg celery chopped
- 6 c sugar
- 3 t tumeric
- 1 t celery seed
- 2 t mustard seed
- 3 c 7% vinegar

Make-ahead Mashed Potatoes

Place potatoes in a Dutch oven and cover with water
- 3 pounds potatoes (about 9 medium), peeled and cubed
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup butter, cubed
- 1/4 cup 2% milk
- 1-1/2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 6 bacon strips, chopped
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 green onions, chopped
Chicken Chow Mein

In a large pot, saute celery in oil for about 5 minutes or until crisp-tender
- 1 * 1 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
- 1 * 1 package fresh celery , sliced
- 1 * 1 cup bean sprouts (optional)
- 1 * 1 (4 oz) can shitaki mushroom pieces, drained
- 1 * 1 (7 oz) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 2 * 2 cups cut up cooked chicken
- 2 * 2 thinly (diagonally) sliced carrots, cooked
- 3 * 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 * 1/2 tsp powdered ginger
- 1 1/2 * 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 * 1 (10 ounce) can condensed chicken broth

Mexican Chicken Casserole

Cook, chicken, cumin, peppers, salsa, cream cheese, black beans, tomatoes till done
- 3 to 4 chicken breasts, cut into 1/2" slices
- 1 t cumin
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 &1/2 c salsa
- 1/2 of a cream cheese brick, cubed
- 1 can black beans, rinsed.
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 tortilla (8")
- 1/2 c shredded cheese.
