- 2 cups butter
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 5 cups blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal and blend in blender to a fine powder)

- 4 cups fresh bing cherries, pitted
- 3/4 cup sugar

- 3 T lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water

- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 T baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup whipping cream

- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup flour plus 2-2.5 cups flour
- 1 pkg yeast (I use rapid rise)
- 1/8 tsp soda

Veal Piccata with Capers

Please veal between 2 sheets of plastic wrap and pound to 1/4 inch thick
- 1 pound veal cutlets
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 T unsalted butter
- 1 T olive oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth

- 1 T fresh lemon juice
- 1 T chopped fresh flat leaf parsley

- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 T vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 T cinnamon
- 2 tsp soda
- 2 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups shredded zucchini
- 2 cups chopped walnuts
- 2 cups chopped raisins
- 1 cup currants
- 2 cups mixed candied fruit
- 8 T Brandy or Rum
North Carolina Ribs

- 1 tbsp plus 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp Plus 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 2 tsp salt

- 6 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter

Spiral Marinated Vegetable Salad

Mix dressing and shake well, making it ahead of time
- Dressing:
- 3 cups corkscrew pasta (Rotini)
- 1 cup broccoli bits
- 1 cup cauliflower bits
- 1 cup carrots (sliced)
- 1- 6 oz marinated artichokes (I use more)
- 1- 7 oz black olives (sliced)
- 6 oz salami (sliced)
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup chopped parsley (or 2 tsp. dried parsley)
- 1 red onion (sliced thinly in rings)
- Cherry tomatoes (added right before serving)
- 2 tsp Fines Herbs
- 4 T white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic
- 5 T oil
- 3 tsp Dijon Mustard
