- 1 cup diced green pepper
- 1 cup sliced smoked ham sausage
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced (or 1/2 tsp. powder)
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 tsp. Louisiana hot sauce
- 1 tsp. Dried thyme
- 1/2 cup Long grain white rice
- 1/2 lb. Frozen, uncooked medium shrimp (peeled and deveined), thawed (optional)
