Ingredients
- 6 dozen clams
- shrimp (as per # of people)
- 4 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 lg onion
- 1 C white wine
- 2 C clam juice plus one small can clams
- chopped parsley
- salt and red pepper flakes
- 1/2 C melted butter (1 stick)
- diced tomato flesh

Preparation
Step 1
Scrub clams. Clean shrimp. Heat oil in large saucepan (w/ a cover) over med heat and cook garlic and onion til translucent. Add tomatoes. . Add wine, cook a couple of minutes. Add clams, shrimp and clam juice. Cover and cook for 10 mins til clams open. Discard any clams that don't open. Season the juices in pan w/ salt and pepper flakes. Pour sauce and melted butter over clams and shrimp
