Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti,cooked
  • 4 cups cooked turkey, cut up
  • 7 tblsp butter,divided
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 can roasted garlic chicken broth
  • 8 oz fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 tblsps light cream
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In skillet, melt 3 tblsp of the butter and saute mushrooms about 5 minutes. Melt the 4 tblsp butter in a saucepan; add the flour and stir until smooth. Whisk in broth and salt and cook until smooth stirring constantly. Whisk a little of it into beaten egg yolk and then pour the egg yolk mixture back into the rest of the sauce. Add the cream, turkey, mushrooms, parmesan cheese and cooked spaghetti. Put in casserole dish and heat in a 325 oven 20 minutes or until heated through.
